Animal Collective - Centipede Hz

Animal Collective has finally put out their new album Centipede Hz. I love this band because of their ability to combine all my favorite elements of modern music together. I believe that they have set a new standard for creativity and originality within music today. It's a shame that bands like this just don't get the attention of the masses on a larger scale, like all the top twenty pop stars you hear on the radio. What would the world be like if that was a reality?

Local Natives - Hummingbird

On January 29th 2013 via the label Frenchkiss the Local Natives will release their sophomore album Hummingbird. They are one of those bands that has their own hard to label sound that I'm not going to attempt to describe to you. Look they're a great band. I wouldn't have them on this blog if they weren't. Take a listen to the song Breakers and decide for yourself.

Ty Segall

This guy is one of the most prolific garage rock revivalists I have ever known of. I don't know were he finds the time to be in seven different bands: The Traditional Fools, Epsilons, Party Fowl, Sic Alps, The Perverts, Ty Segall Band, and his solo works.
