The City of Samba

This is the finest example of Tilt-Shift photography that I've ever seen. When I look at this little short by Jarbas Agnelli and Keith Loutit, I feel like a giant alien looking into a glass bottle observing a miniature human world. This footage is from the 2011 Carnival celebration in Rio de Janeiro. It was shot using Nikon D3s bodies, modified enlarger and large format lenses on bellows. It consists of 170 thousand stills. And it's awesome.
