The Flaming Lips and Erykah Badu have made a surprisingly shocking video for the song Western Esotericism that will be the first single from the new collab-heavy album The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends, to be released June 26th. The video features Badu and her sister Nayrok Bares in a tub bathing in glitter, blood, and some sort of thick white cream. Some have interpreted it as glitter symbolizing glamour and fame, blood as a woman's physical sacrifices, and the white creamy stuff...well you know.
